ANA ROSA JAQUEIRA (PT) Researcher responsible: Phd from the University of Coimbra (2010), in the area of Physical Activity Sciences. She works in the area of Physical Education, with emphasis on Traditional Games, Recreation, Games and Emotions, Motor Praxiology, Organization of Leisure Activities, Cineanthropology and Capoeira. She has been teaching the subject “Traditional Portuguese Games” for 23years.
PAULO COÊLHO ARAÚJO (PT) He is a retired professor from the University of Coimbra, Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education, in Capoeira, Cineanthropology, and Systematics of Motor Activities and Sports. He is currently an investigator in an international project in the f ield of traditional games and vice-president of the European Traditional Sports and Games Association.
FERNANDO BORGES (PT): PhD in Communication Studies from Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II), in the area of Sports Journalism. He works as research manager with emphasis on international projects (pre and post award), scientific impact and science communication. As researcher, his interest focus on the relationship between sport and culture.
RODRIGO VIEIRA CRUZ (PT): Master’s graduate in Physical Education Teaching for Primary and Secondary Education from the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education at the University of Coimbra. I have been dedicated to the field of sports and education, focusing on promoting physical activity and well-being in various contexts. My work is driven by a passion for teaching and the belief in the transformative power of physical education in the development of individuals.

AARON RILLO ALBERT (ES): Researcher responsible for INEFC (Institution partner of the project): PhD and professor from the National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia, INEFC Pirineus, University of Lleida. Member of the Motor Action Research Group (GIAM), a consolidated group [2021 SGR 00847]. His main areas of research and teaching are traditional sports games and emotional and relational experience in Physical Education (socioemotional well-being).
BIEL PUBILL SOLER (ES) Teacher of physical education and Geography and History at the Flix Institute (1997). The area of Physical Education works on the basis of the Traditional Games of the area, taking into account the historical, social and natural context. It has been 28 years since he taught the optional “Traditional and popular Catalan games”.

PERE LAVEGA (ES) President of AEJeST. Professor at INEFC, Campus University of Lleida. I am a full professor at the INEFC of Lleida, an expert in the field of traditional games and sports, and director of the INEFC-HUB continuous training centre. He has been deputy director of studies and director and deputy director of research at INEFC. I lead the Motor Action Research Group and have published more than 100 articles. Founder and president of AEJeST, he is an advisor to UNESCO and president of the world network of traditional games, promoting research on traditional play and its relationship with local culture (ethnomotricity), sustainability, social inclusion, gender equality, conflict transformation, relational and emotional well-being.
PAULA PLA (ES) Predoctoral student and professor at INEFC Barcelona in the subject of Theory and Practice of Motor Game with the completion of the doctoral thesis entitled “Gender and coexistence. Education of motor conflict through games” as a beneficiary of a grant. Member of the Motor Action Research Group (GIAM), consolidated group [2021 SGR 00847].
TAMARA PERKOVIĆ (HR) Teacher and Researcher. She works with elementary schools on implementing Traditonal games and sports in their curriculum. She has broad experience with European projects regarding intangible cultural heritage and cooperates with Croatian Traditonal Games and Sports Association.
